Tonight it is fish tacos with some of the mahi-mahi we caught last summer. I
am looking for any really good ideas, hoping to go beyond the standard additions. Thanks! -- Peter Aitken Visit my recipe and kitchen myths page at www.pgacon.com/cooking.htm |

Thanks! -- Peter Aitken Visit my recipe and kitchen myths page at www.pgacon.com/cooking.htm When I make fish tacos I make a slaw to go on them. Shredded cabbage, finely sliced cucumbers, carrots, bell pepper and diced jalapeno pepper, marinated in very light vinaigrette. |

Taking an idea from Chinese cooking, fish tastes pretty good with black bean
sauce. Maybe you could make a black bean paste, sort of like the consistency of regular refried beans, and figure out a way to add just a touch of sweetness to them. Maybe a little apple cider vinegar, cooked down by 2/3, then mixed with the bean stuff? "Peter Aitken" wrote in message . com... Anyway see my other post about what I ended up doing. -- Peter Aitken |
