Default San Diego Area Online Grocers

Hi Folks,

I'm interested in some input about S.D. area online grocers.
www.Vons.com has a $50.00 dollar minimum. Have any of you tried any of
teh other area online grocers? How much is the minimum purchase?

Have you tried any other online grocers such as : www.netgrocer.com ?
Were they easy to use? Do they deliver to San Diego? Pros and cons are
welcome.

Thanks in advance for any imput.

Tai

Albertson's has online groceries and no minumum.
That's the only online service I've used and was very satisfied.

Are you coming to the cookin?

Thank you KoKo, for answering my inquiry. I take care of a homebound
person and since I don't have a car this has been a very helpful option.

What cookin'?

I've lurked off and on for a number of months but I don't keep abreast
of what's happening in this group. I looked for r.f.c.'s website so
that I wouldn't asked a question that has already been asked. There at
times seem to be much anger about repeat questions. I did google this
group and did get a website but I didn't find any opinion yea or nay
about it. The online grocers , is what I'm talking about.

Thank you very much for your input. It is greatly appreciated.

I think I mis-read your first post. I wasn't aware you needed home
delivery, I have only shopped Albertson's on-line and picked the
groceries up at the store.
At the time Von's didn't offer any on-line services (I don't shop them
anymore after the way they treated their returning employees that went
on strike)

On 4/20 Victor Sack posted the rfc frequently asked questions and
conversion file try google-ing that, it is a big help.

the cookin'.
Over the years posters to this group have become acquainted with each
other and have gotten together to cook.
Someone decides to host a cookin' and generously opens their home to
us, and those that can make it get together and cook. . We take our
turns at the stove, oven, or grill and there is a steady stream of
food and drink all day and most times into the evening.
It is a good opportunity to put faces with some of the names you see
in the newsgroup.
The cookin is June 12th in Poway. You are welcome to attend.

The only home delivery in Sandy Eggo is Vons. It is an excellent service.
The minimum has never been a problem for me. They wave it most of the time
anyway.

Are you coming to the cookin?

Dear Koko. After all this time and you still screw it up. shaking head It

I am too. ;-)
Can't wait to see you again dear friend.

You gals should sing that song to Charlie when he arrives.

I am still not sure I will be there. More than likely not, but if I
am, I hope we can do a rousing chorus together.

MERDE! Going to gang up on me eh? I hope someone brings some strong licker.
I'm making Black Velvets, but those are rather mild. I'm not making Kay's
Margaritas this year as I cannot afford it, but perhaps someone else will.
I'll need fortification. I can tell that you people are ALL going to be mean
to me. I have a thick skin and will not notice. Just ignore the tears, as
they are unrelated to any nastiness.

You people are too young to know what an "Anything-In" is. History means
nothing anymore. sigh Kids today.

Charlie
