Default lack of meat, poultry

Is there a connection between lack of meat, poultry; i.e. (broadest
ense) -- and bad temper? have been on a mush sort of diet for the last
few days - tooth surgery. And have been quite imaginative with soft stuff
(hate to say pureed); i.e. potatoes, porridge, mashed veggies, eggs etc. --
This sucks!

So what's lacking - Is it the texture or the actual protein that's in the
meat... I'm thinking I'm haveing real withdrawal and noticed this bad temper
before when dieting.
