Good stuff...... ;-d K. The rack of lamb at Outback is really good. What I find disappointing, at Outback and many of the other steak chains, is that they are not serving *prime* grade steaks anymore, but *choice*. Frankly, they're tough, and I can do better at home. The only steak chains near me that serve prime grade beef are Ruth's Chris and Morton's, a bit pricier, but worth it for the occasional steak. Pretty much agreed. :-) The only place around here that I've heard sells melt-in-you-mouth prime beef steaks is Cattleman's steakhouse (or something like that) in Austin. I've not been there yet... But that rack of lamb at Outback...yum! Glad you agree. :-) Makes me wish that Lamb was cheaper in the grocery stores! I'd like to eat it more often. Wayne K. -- Sprout the Mung Bean to reply... They really are not bad for a chain. :-) Medium pricing. They have the bloomin' onion which is a nice treat to me as I don't eat that kind of thing very often, but the rack of lamb is downright memorable, and worth the price. Enough food too to split if you want to save money and share. They don't mind doing that. It's 8 ribs and with the salad and veggies and bread and stuff, it's just more than I can eat in one meal! Too much food... The only place around here that I've heard sells melt-in-you-mouth prime beef steaks is Cattleman's steakhouse (or something like that) in Austin. I've not been there yet...
