Default Truffle Oil Uses

Hello everyone -

Bought my first bottle of black truffle oil today, and I was curious as to
what all it can be used for. Any favorites floating around out there?
Also, should I store it in the freezer? I've seen this done before, not
sure if it's necessary, though.

Thanks,

Joe

Use it to fuel your truffle lamps?

Pour a little over a poached egg on toasted bread. Yummy.

What a stupid asswipe you are. For your information, the above dish is
served here in one of NY's trendiest, most popular restaurants (ino, in
the Village), and this particular dish has been favorably reviewed by
several food critics. Expand your horizons, you provincial fool.

"Pour a little over a poached egg on toasted bread" seems pretty straight to
me. Or do you need instructions for poaching eggs and toasting bread?
Sheesh!

evidently to be part of rec.food.cooking you have to be pretty much a rude
sardonic asshole. its amusing to see racially charged slurs used over a
cabbage wilting techinque or a hotdog. besides new yorks trendiest most
popular restaurants can suck my balls on a hot south carolina summer day

LOL Oh, look. A new and successful recruit.

Welcome aboard A.C., but you're not really "here" until Sheldon the
Shitwit, plagiarist extraordinaire, mental defective, and ex-navy cook
calls you something astonishingly inappropriate. *Then* you're really
here. Given that you mention South Carolina and don't use capital
letters, he'll probably make some comments about yo' mama and her
sexual proclivities, the hillbilly status of all your relatives, your
desperately limited IQ and the failure of your small intelligence to
master "proper" English. He does stuff like that to all the people he
envies.

So. You like to cook 'n stuff?
