Default Looking for decent feta in South Florida

Hi everybody,

I recently moved to South Florida (Boynton Beach area) from NYC and am
missing some things I grew accustomed to over the years in NYC. One of
the numerous food items I miss is decent feta cheese. There is an
_extremely_ limited variety available at the supermarkets (Publix,
Winn-Dixie) - all I saw was some crumbled feta at Publix, and the
bottled feta-in-oil. I am looking for those slabs you could buy at
greek shops in Astoria (and also recently pretty much everywhere in
Manhattan) that I love. I actually prefer the "bulgarian" variety, but
I'll take any variety I can find.

So. Are there any greek shops in SoFla? I wouldn't mind driving
upwards of 50-60 miles once a week to get my feta

While at it I might as well ask away. I'm also looking for packaged
hummus. I can only find Athenos (horrible - very dry) and Tribe of Two
Sheiks (okay). But only in 8 oz. size. There was another widely-avail
brand at every NYC supermarket, who's name escapes me. And both it and
tribe were avail in 16 oz. sizes.

Also, hook me up with any good ethnic (as in Eastern European & Middle
Eastern) stores anywhere in the general area of South Florida. I miss
Jewish pastrami, Mamoun's falafels, Bereket's kebabs )

P.S. Tomorrow I am going back to NYC one last time to get the last of
my stuff. I'll probably put on a few pounds as I'll probably spoil
myself with food.. 10 falafels @ Mamoun's seem perfectly plausible at
this point in time :-D

I find the Vigo feta cheese quite good - it's a solid chunk and it's
packed in brine (and if it's not the Bulgarian type, it's damn close
to it). See http://www.vigoalessi.com/itemView.php?id=17 for a
picture. The Publix stores around here (North Florida) carry it,
usually somewhere near the prepackaged and shredded cheese area.
