Well, some were already done. But, this is the first year my darling little
red-headed granddaughter is old enough to really get into it. She's 3 and on
her way to Grandma's right now. I spent the night hosing down the bushes out
front so she could see some icicles. It actually went below freezing here in SW
Louisiana in Cajun country. I've heard rumors we might have snow flurries.
My front room (no heat that side of the house), is 48 degrees right now and I
just love it. The kitchen is all cozy and I just might get the butter soft
enough to blend into the sugar. :-)

Yah hoo! It's beginning to feel like Christmas. Might be that bottle of Merlot
my daughter got me.
