This new GOOGLE "beta" is rather like old betamax in my opinion.
It will let me post new messages but so far I cannot reply to any
exsisting messages. This is no fun at all!
What shoiuld I do?

Get yourself a real news reader! I use (free) Agent, but
there are others.... News Xpress for one.
