Lucky you...:P Aren't the bins/packages marked as to origin? That is
supposed to be the law these days.

In that case, they are probably locally grown. You should ask, on
general principles.

The back yard gardener can grow brussels sprouts most anywhere but
not with consistant success... for the typical home gardener
attempting sprouts is more a novelty. Commercially grown sprouts to
be a successful enterprise need very specific conditions, a long
growing season, particular soil, moisture, temperature... most
commercial sprouts farms are located relatively close to foggy sea
coasts; California and Long Island are the major producers.
