Default are all great cooks women?

it's often said all great chefs are men.

but could one say all great cooks are women?

cooking is honest. being a chef is pompous.

it's like there are women, but there gay men who wanna be women but of
course arent so they try to compensate their lack by becoming
fancifully dressed fairies or going into whoopie doo fashion design.
they take something natural and turn it into fluffy-puffy-duff.

same with cooking. men can't be like women in the kitchen, cooking up
something honest--too feminine--so they have to justify their choice
of cooking career by trying to elevate cooking into some pompous ass
art.

LOL Being a chef is a work title like foreman or manager. It's the
title of the person who runs the kitchen.

Being a troll is stupid.

Good thinking, Sparky. That big red nose and floppy shoes are you. So
appropriately, um, fashonable.

No, seriously...

Being a chef w/an attitude like Emeril is pompous. Being a chef is an
interest and perhaps a career.

You watch too much television.

What does being a cook cook or a good chef have to do with gender?

Regarding old Emeril - I used to think he was the court jester of cooking
until two things happened. First, I went to his restaurant in NO and was
blown away by the food and service. Second, I heard Julia Child say some
very kind and complementary words about him in a biography of her. It's a
reminder to all of us to not judge a book by its cover.

No. F'rinstance, yesterday I turned 4 oz of 4%-fat ground
beef, a teaspoon of chorizo seasoning, a chopped slice of
onion, an ounce of cheese, and a whole-wheat tortilla into
one of the best burritos I've ever eaten.

The day before, I turned a handful of langostinos,
a chopped slice of onion, a little EVOO, a spoonful of
Lee Kum Kee chili garlic sauce, a handful of mixed baby
greens, and a drizzle of EVOO and Balsamico de Modena into
a 5-star lunch in about 10 minutes.
