Default Yes, we survived Hurricane Charley

Hola, hello, hi and yo!

Dora reminded me to let everyone know that we came through the Hurricane
just fine. The eye of it passed through just 8 miles from our house! We
lost a few tree limbs and 2 pieces of soffit came off (I found 1 on them -
yay!). Other than that we came out smelling better than a perfect rose.

I received several phone calls and/or E-mails from several of you... thank
you so much for all of your concern! Here's hoping that Charley peters
(peeters?) out before he/she/it causes any more damage!

Hugs to all,
Cyndi

Glad that it "decided" not to mess with you too badly.

Whose cruel idea was it for the word "lisp" to have an "s" in it?

It's great to hear that you and friends are unscathed. Charlie is due in
New Jersey any time now, with only 50 mph winds at the coast and 30
inland. It should be well north by morning. We're fine.

Glad to hear you're okay. The footage that CNN showed of Charley was
just awful. My mother's probably glad she no longer has property
outside Kissimmee.

Stay dry! Cindy

Glad to hear that! I can't believe how fast it made it up there... and I'm
extremely relieved that it has slowed it's windspeeds!

Glad to hear you are safe! I hope the same can be said for all of our
friends and acquaintances there.
Some of the damage has been insane. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

Yepper - glad to hear you guys were OK. Most of my friends in the
'hit' areas have reported in; Some have no power and the reports
came in from other folks who relayed phone messages. Nasty Business,
that.
