This isn't an official copycat recipe, but it's pretty good nonetheless.
You could reduce the recipe and simply store in a clean jar in the
fridge forpracticallyever.

Chili Sauce

Recipe By : Ball Blue Book, posted to r.f.cooking by Barb Schaller
8-13-04
Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Canning, Preserves, Etc.

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
4 quarts chopped, peeled, cored tomatoes -- about 24 large
2 cups chopped onion -- about 2 medium
2 cups chopped sweet red peppers -- about 4 medium
1 hot red pepper -- finely chopped
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons salt
3 tablespoons mixed pickling spices
1 tablespoon celery seed
1 tablespoon mustard seed
2 1/2 cups vinegar

Combine tomatoes, onions, peppers, sugar, and salt in a large saucepot.
Cook gently 45 minutes. Tie spices in a spice bag. Add spice bag to
tomato mixture. Cook until mixture is reduced by one-half, about 45
minutes more. As mixture thickens, stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Add vinegar and cook slowly until as thick as desired. Remove spice
bag. Ladle hot sauce into hot jars, leaving 1/4" headspace. Adjust
two-piece lids and rings, process 15 minutes in a boiling water canner.
Yield, about 6 pints.
