Default Why?

Why is it that so many people seem compelled to post non-related
subjects in these NG's?
There are so many NG's to talk about everything,..........use them!!
In this NG we want to talk about
COOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

Damn it's good to see that WebTV still provides some entertainment value.

He/she has a point. I seem to find myself deleting-before-reading a
whole lot of threads here lately. I'm used to topics like "Whole wheat
vs. enriched" wandering off chattily into discussions of guitars or
vacations in France, but *not* endless political wrangles and threads
with obscene subject lines. RFC just doesn't seem to be as pleasant a
place as it used to be.

Nonsense.

Waves come and go -- especially when school's out -- but rfc's core is
always there. Food, and all the other facets associated with it can be found
immediately upon even the most cursory glance. It comes down to the simple
axiom, "If you aren't part of the solution, you're part of the problem
(non-participation)."

That nitwit from WebTV is part of the problem.
