It could be too late for some. ----- However, meat from a cow with the deadly mad cow disease may have already been eaten, possibly in the form of hamburger, Washington State Deputy Director of Agriculture Bill Brookerson said yesterday. Asked at a press conference if it was possible that the meat had already been consumed, Brookerson replied: "It's possible." ----- -- "The citizen's job is to be rude -- to pierce the comfort of professional intercourse by boorish expressions of doubt." --John Ralston Saul |

I propose that we move to ban their import. -- Larry Jandro - Remove spamtrap in ALLCAPS to e-mail "Lord, are we worthy of the task that lies before us, or are we just jerking off..?" |

We are of course irritated that the price of domestic beef will now rise drastically as the US attempts to buy our total stocks of beef. :-P Regards, Greg.P. |

The beef bans were/are mostly symbolic as we consume more then we produce. That makes us a beef importer - not exporter.
