Render your own. Just get a fat piece of swine and put in a cast iron pot
over low heat and voila, pure lard. Pour into a clean jar, let cool and place in your fridge. If you are Canadian, you may remember the late Jehane Benoit and her Tenderfake pure lard commercials. This stuff really would stick to your ribs. Farmer John wrote in message ... Does anyone know if you can purchase 100% lard (without PHO in it)? Everything I find seems to have some partially hydrogenated lard added. |
