Get Solutions for Small Kitchens From the Experts at This Old House!

Considering that This Old House and Bob Vila were sued several times for
shoddy workmanship, I don't think so.

La Paz, Bolivia is the world's most
fireproof city. At 12,000 feet about
sea level, the amount of oxygen in the
air barely supports a flame.

I know. That's why I left off the URL.

Wayne,
I read an article a few years ago that quoted Bob as saying they had trouble
getting motivated on jobs the homeowner didn't get involved in. The deal was
that the homeowner got a great deal on whatever upgrade/restoration/new
addition/etc. was being done to his house, but the homeowner was supposed to
provide some sweat equity. When the staff felt they were being used by the
homeowner, it was hard for them to get as motivated to perform as well.

I remember one show where the Bob and Norm were trying to get the homeowner
to break up a cast iron waste pipe. The guy kept trying to leave and Bob
kept trying to get him to work. Bob finally took the sledge away from the
guy and told him to get lost. It was pretty tense.

Jon
