It's making the rounds that longtime Tex-Mex restaurant Chuy Arzola's in Dogtown will be closing soon. http://www.saucemagazine.com/scoop.php The last few times I'd been there, it was clear that business was way off. Yeah I heard about it. What a bummer. I hope they open somewhere else. IMO the food was a helluva lot better the first few years they were open. It was pretty much a dive back then and one of my favorite places to go. If you like TexMex (not particularly my cup o' tea), what's wrong with Nacho Mama's? That's close to you, Michael. IMO Nacho Mama's is an abomination... I have yet to find anything I like on their menu. I don't bother with it anymore with Hacienda right across the street ![]() Michael In researching St. Louis restaurants, I came up witth Cunetto's House of Pasta. Wow, the menu sounds terrific! Have you ever been there, Michael? kili |

Sometimes the wait for a table can be long though. The food is very good and Cunetto's has been around a long time. It used to be even better before the son took over the business from the father. Some of their wait staff has been there for decades. Michael Okay, if I ever get the chance to visit you, we're going there! kili |

Lorenzo's Trattoria on Edwards st. Had a great dinner there. We also hi a Brazilian place, Yemanje (SP?) that was a lot of fun. The food was OK, but the place had great atmosphere. We ate at Jimmy's Cafe in Clayton the last night we were there. We always seem to hit there when we visit. Jon |
