Ginny;

You're welcome to join us any time!

Stan,

Would it be a stretch at the same time to visit the Italian market in
South
Philly? Who wouldn't want to visit Fantés? Empty their wallets in favor of
kitchen calamity bits and pieces, etc?

We could Pho if George would join in.

Best,

Andy
Summer starts at 7:59PM today

Actually, I would forgo the RTM for an afternoon of frolicking around the
Italian Market. I get to Reading Terminal 3 or 4 times a year but never get
to the Italian Market.

Jon,

Well, that's just a personal problem.

I'm faster to the Italian market by car than to RTM by train.

Get off your feet, ya BUM!!!

RTM is the way to go if you are doing it by train. If you are driving,
then IM is the Washington Street exit on I95. Forget trying to park in CC
Philly.

Parking isn't bad in CC just spendy. However you can park 2 hours at the
12th & Filbert garage for $3 if you buy more than $10 from a merchant at
RTM and get the ticket validated. I don't go to CC very often except
recently because a family member had major surgery at Jefferson.

I typically hit Washington St when driving in Philly. As you said
parking is easy. I visit either or both of the Vietnamese malls or the
couple great Mexican places. Next time I want to try an Indonesian place
a friend told me about.

Another option for those who prefer public transit, is to take the
appropriate regional rail to Center City, then take SEPTA's Broad St.
subway to the Ellsworth-Federal stop and walk from there, or just walk
from the Gallery, which is probably the nearest regional rail stop to
the Italian Market; its about a one mile walk.
