anything better- Ms. Dickhead? That's a new one to me LOL.

That brings up a question. What TYPE of gravy is used for poutine? I
was thinking it was beef. No?

I've seen recipes for both, so it's possible chicken is a Quebec specialty.
I'd much prefer that to beef (and certainly to canned beef gravy!) but what
do I know? When the SIL's schedule and mine allow, and if the curds are
available, I'll report back.

In the meantime, Junior Daughter says she thinks Bristol Lounge here in
Boston has it, as well as several places in The People's Republic of
Cambridge.

I'd love to make some home fries in the morning with onion and green

Was wondering what else you might add? I could probably scramble some
eggs, then combine with the home fries and add cheese over it all.

Sure, why not? In my area, an item on the menu at most every diner and
breakfast joint is an omelet made with home fries, onions, and peppers.
I prefer my eggs and potatoes separate, so it is not something I order.

which part do you put the ketchup on?

Literally, neither part. The ketchup goes on the side of the plate and
the food gets dipped into it, in this case, both the eggs and potatoes.

hah! i knew the answer would be some form of 'both.'
