It looks like FN is doing another round of this show.

I have never seen the show by the first winner, but after my 2 favorites,
the hefty black guy, and the chef at the resort were eliminated, I lost
interest anyway.

The winner of the second season, Guy Fieri, like him or not as a
"personality", appears to becoming truly "the next Food Network Star." I
have seen his show, "Guy's Big Bite," and it appears that he knows what he
is doing in the kitchen.

In the third season, JAG was my favorite, though I really don't tunderstand
what the heck happened with his lying about service in Afghanistan and going
to culinary school. I think the lady that was called back was the winner,
though I have not seen her show.

He dresses and looks like a cliche lounge lizzard cum beach bum, yet
he's someone I think one could have a really good time with! He's so
likeable. And he does seem to have a passion for food.

And eating deep fried stuff is a bad thang? Lots of us ol' southron boys
was raised on it. May be why heart attacks and strokes run in the
family. Naw, it's the wimmen we marry. VBG

He's a bit of a whack job, but a fun whack job. I'd rather go on a road
trip with him than Paula Deen's sons. They are just a couple of poorly
scripted mis-fits, IMO.
