Monitor
Operating temperature range.........32° F to 122° F

That's weird! It's definitely not the case, though, because I use it
for pork and poultry in the 160-180 range. And I calibrated it in
boiling water, so I know it goes up to at least 212F.

If you dunk the monitor (the part that displays the temperature) in
boiling water, I suspect that it will not display any temperature at
all, ever again.

Ahahahahahahahawhahaha. . . .

I can't believe I just read that. What sort of mental illness do you
have, Shelly?

It's quite clear that he is seriously homophibic, and quite possibly
seriously mentally ill. After years of reading this drivel from him, I am
totally desensitized to anything he could possibly say or do. It's a shame
that he has to sink to such depths to be noticed. He attacks many people
on many different planes, and I think folks here are finally waking up to
the serious nature of his affliction.

I don't know how long you've been reading and posting here, -dk, but he has
attacked others in far worse ways with far worse consequences for them.

What? You mean this imbecile shows up at people's doors? He's nuts,
but is he really that ****ed up?

No, not literally, but verbally here on rfc and probably other groups.
Severe verbal abuse comes very close to physical abuse. True, he is nuts,
and he really is tha ****ed up.

I grilled two tonight: a 3/4# rib steak and a smaller
New York strip steak. The rib steak had my name
on it, and I ate about 3/5 of it; saving the rest for
breakfast or a green salad in the next couple days.

Sides were an oiled and salted baked potato, fresh
green beans, mixed green salad. Oh and mushrooms
for the steak.

Sounds delish! When's the chef of Casa Shaller travel to the
Left Coast again?

You got a spare bed?

I do, as long as you like cats (one hangs out in the back bedroom).

ObFood: Got two t-bones in the Meat Box, but they're extra-thin; am
considering pan-searing them, and making a simple pan sauce (red wine,
broth, mustard, and some butta) to go-with.

Definitely will have either bread or mashed potatoes to deal with the
lovely gravy.
