I would like to try lasagna. I have never seen a spice pack in the
grocery store for lasagna like I have seen for chili and pot roast.

Does one exist?

Lasagna usually doesn't include any spices just sprinkled over layers. The
tomato sauce I use in layers does, of course. Did you mean that? If so,
standard recipes for tomato sauce might include basil, oregano, rosemary,
marjoram, thyme or a few others. Make a good sauce and you can use it in
or on anything!
Sometimes I grind a bit of fresh nutmeg into the cheese filling...

What kind of noodles do you use, instant, fresh, or old fashion dried and
boiled? What kind of cheese?
I find lasagne very frustrating. It's a lot of work if done correctly.

It's really easy. You only have four components: noodles, white
layer (ricotta or cottage cheese mixed with garlic, Parmesan and
parsley flakes), red layer (tomato sauce with ground meat and some
spices/herbs in it) and cheese (Parmesan and Mozzarella). What's so
frustrating about that? I love making it because it's so - I dunno,
orderly or something.

My bad - forgot that my recipe has beaten eggs in the white layer.
Oops.
