Apparently big vans are never parked on the car's passenger side. Duh.

Wouldn't that depend on how the car or truck are parked?.... If the truck
was parked with front to curb and the car was parked with it's rear to
curb.. So then, the drivers of both the truck and the car would be alongside
each other... drivers doors that is...

Hey there, Peter...I just noticed the time on your post.. 2:59AM today....
Brisbane is still the same time zone as Sydney is..(Except your State (Qld)
will not go 'Day Saving Time' during the Summer....) How come you are up as
late as you do on UseNet?.... Do you suffer from insomnia?....

It's a favourite saying of 'Kath and Kim' :-)

http://www.kathandkim.com/

http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Kath_&_Kim

http://www.theage.com.au/articles/20...864514250.html

Kim: "I want to be effluent, Mum."
Kath: "You are effluent, Kim...."

I thought it was too good of a malapropism to be a simple misspelling,
but it was still funny :-)

If you ever get a chance to watch Kath&Kim...... it's a hoot :-)

On 24 hour call. Had come back from a job around midnight, and it takes
awhile for the body to calm back down.

It was shortly after the 'discussion' with MacQueen I decided that she
wasn't worth the effort and hit the sack around 4.30am, and was up again
by 8am for another job.

I'm hoping that tonight will yeild more time for sleep, but I'm not
holding my breath.

You will travel through the valley of rejection;
you will reside in the land of morning mists...and you will find your
home,
though it will not be where you left it.

Being affluent is having the ability to fill the gas tank without
going... "oh shit"...

That would be me! But then, my car gets about 45 miles per gallon. I'll
check back with you after I drive 12 hours to South Carolina (with a cat in
tow).

Well, I hope the cops bust your ass good for animal cruelty. Most normal
people put the damn cat *inside* the car.

I'm not a cat lover by any means, but I would never resort to such
cruelty.
