My George Foreman grill, I mean. It finally happened. I made some pork last night, and forgot to put in the top griddle. D'oh! When I put the griddles in after washing them, I always put them both in. Well, of course. But something must've distracted me last night, and I never installed the top one. I didn't notice this until I noticed it sitting on top of the range (right next to the Foreman!), where they had been drying (no, not with the burners on); at about the same time I noticed the smell of smoke. Man, oh man, was the top of that pork ever done! ![]() And then some. Not the rest, of course, which had been grilling normally -- for only a couple of minutes of the intended 10-minute session. I readjusted my approach and salvaged the pork. And cleaned up the Foreman this morning. ![]() -- Blinky Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://improve-usenet.org Blinky: http://blinkynet.net |

I had to chuckle over it, though, because it's such a *me* thing to do. :~) Surprisingly, the cleanup wasn't too bad. But avoidance would've been better. ![]() -- Blinky Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://improve-usenet.org Blinky: http://blinkynet.net |
