Yep, me too. As he always said, "You don't know jack schidt." :-)

He didn't dream it up.... it was a popular email joke at the time.

No, he didn't dream it up, but he always used it. I think it was a popular
phrase long before email.

There are a few people I miss; Carol, Omelet, Charlotte Blackmer,
Charles Gifford, blacksalt, Trillium, Barry Grau, Harry Demidavicius.

Does anyone remember Jimmy Tango or Jack Daniels?

Becca

i killfiled jimmy tango right quick. i remember (and miss) most of
the others you mentioned.

I don't remember a Barry Grau or a Jack Daniels.

Barry Grau posted a lot of recipes to the group. Jack Daniels was a
young kid and he had some health issues, but I can not remember what
they were.

And Jack Schmidt, by whatever the day's name was.

Felice

i forgot to mention jack. god, i miss him! (it was 'jack schidt,'
though.)

your pal,
blake

I stand corrected. Perhaps it was the hidden puritan in me that tucked that
"m" in there.

Felice

hmm. heretofore it's been well-hidden.

Jack Schmidling is still around, with his photo of the week.

Haven't seen him around here for a long time.

And don't be missing Charlotte Blackmer too much. I see 15 posts of
hers in the last month, under "clb", not as much as she used to post,
but still respectable.
