Default Beef casserole recipe for slow cooker

I am going away on the weekend to a B&B with a kitchen and we will be
cooking for our family and my parents one night. I'd love to make a
casserole for us. I have in mind something quite rich tasting (not spicy)
with beef, veg and with some sort of pulse (chickpeas, etc). We like
mushrooms and olives. We are heading into winter here so something hearty
would be nice.

Has anyone got a really delicious recipe?

I wonder if you're unclear on the concept of what a B&B is.

Google for "strata recipe". Personally, I'd make a Dutch Baby which
is related to souffle.
