Default New breadmaker, suggested brands?

Hi! My beloved breadmaker is finally dying. I'm looking at replacement
types.

Needs:
-Able to make 2 lb loaf but also able to work with 1.5 lb loaf recipes
(setting selection)
-Have at least 6 settings for different types (wheat, french, dough, sweet,
white, darker white)
-be 100$ or less or not much more
-fairly small countertop footprint (longwise models may be nifty but we are
counter deprived)

Irrelevant:
-delay cycle (I've never bothered to use this)
-1 lb loaf ability, nice but almost never used this

Good and bad of your units? I use mine twice a week or more. I have
medical problems that make a breadmaker needed to both control contents and
kneed the bread for me. I am not interested in a dough-hook only type of
device. I want to load it, press a few buttons, and take out fresh bread 4
hours or so later.

I have a Regal breadmaker that has lived and worked here for several
years now. It does an excellent job and has enough different settings to
please anyone. I think I got it at Walmart but wouldn't swear to it.
Makes a 2, 1.5, or 1 lb loaf and does it well.

I have a Breadman TR2500 and am happy with it. It does 1, 1.5, and 2#
loaves, makes horizontal loaves, has multiple settings (type of bread,
crust type, add-ins, etc.). It also does delay baking easily so you
might find that you use that feature. Waking up to the smell of
freshly baked bread is great!

I am yeast and kneading challenged and this works great for me. I
only eat whole wheat bread, have to limit salt, and use this to know
what's really in the bread that I'm eating.

I've got a new toastmaster with a single paddle. It's ok. I've also
got an Admiral that's at least 10 years old. The Admiral has twin
paddles. That feature is far superior to single paddle machines. I
use mine mainly for kneading dough, and I bake in the oven. The dual
paddle machine does a better job. The paddles work against each
other. The single paddle machine sometimes will leave a clump of
unmixed flour in a corner if I don't watch it. Both will make a
decent load of bread, but I like the Admiral better. They're not
available anymore, but look for that feature.

I think he feels threatened by really good cooks. He does it to Guisi too!
