C http://www.recfoodcooking.com/ C Vote now! (or not) Opinion was equally divided even if I wasn't first: 1 for, 1 against! I have to admit that I sometimes eat at McDs tho' usually if I am looking for a quick meal when travelling. (or not) -- Cheers Chatty Cathy Garlic: the element without which life as we know it would be impossible MCINL I'll get something at a fast food place if I'm on a long trip and don't have time to find a better sit down place. I generally avoid fast food otherwise. |

ChattyCathy wrote: http://www.recfoodcooking.com/ Vote now! (or not) I used to work on the road and occasionally ate at McDonalds, Burger King other hamburger joints and KFC. I stopped. Being on the road, I was not in a position to suffer from the inevitable Big Mac attack. Harvey's hamburgers aren't too bad, and their fries are a hell of a lot better than McD's. For the last few years at work I either went to a proper restaurant or got a sandwich for Tim Hortons. I am not sure if that is considered fast food or not. They offer soups, chili, sandwiches on freshly baked rolls, but nothing cooked on a greasy griddle and the last thing you would expect to hear in there is "Do you want fries with that?" |

MCINL. The only other possible choice will be 'Any chance I get' My choice would have been, "While I don't make fast food a destination meal, I sometimes stop there because it's handy and quick, but only on the days following the night of a full moon and while not wearing underwear." Since I *was* wearing briefs today, this was breakfast: http://i23.tinypic.com/osss3n.jpg The meat is burnt, the bread is soggy and there's little red sticks growing on the bottom bun. If I made burgers like that I'll be eating at McD's even on days following a quarter, crescent and new moons and every moon in between. Even if I'm wearing PJ's. |

James Silverton Potomac, Maryland E-mail, with obvious alterations: not.jim.silverton.at.verizon.not It was a bit tricky. :-) I do, on very rare occasions, purchase from McDonalds. Breakfasts while traveling or the very rare batch of McNuggets. But it's been 2 or 3 years now since I've stopped there. But I can't say I don't or never will. -- Peace, Om Remove both _ (underscores) to validate gmail e-mails.
