Bones (roasted) make the best stock in the world. Deep and richly coloured,
tasty stock.

My dad used to suck marrow from pork chop bones, a pretty disgusting sight.

Bone marrow is pretty good stuff... get big bones, split them, and
slow-roast them, or simme them in a rich stock (made from more bones).
mmmm... Why do you think osso bucco and lamb shanks are so good?!

If you have the patience to let them THOROUGHLY dry and then pulverize
them, they make bone meal -- great for gardening.

Got a better use. ;-)

We freeze all bones until we have a pressure cooker full, make bone
stock and make sure that the remaining bone material is crumbly...
then feed it to the chickens!

Not only do they love it, but it is good for the eggs, or so I have
read.
