The vittal in question is a plum duff.
Can I steam it in a pressure cooker with the lid on (i. e. under
pressure)? Does this make sense?
Failing that, can I steam it with the lid off, i. e. in a large enough
pot with water at the bottom?
Thanks.

Do you have to use a special pan or tin for a pudding? I used a
Gugelhupf tin, but the pudding stuck to the bottom (again).
