Default How long to cook chicken on a Rotisserie?

I am thinking about getting one of those counter top rotisserie
machine, mainly for roasting chickens. How long does it take to cook 1
or 2 chickens.
THanks,
Roger

Depends on the size and the temperature of the bird when it started to spin.
Mostly, 1.25 to 1.5 hours.

It depends on what kind of rotisserie you have . If you have the Farbeware
rotisserie it's difficult to do two chickens end to end. There's not enought
heat at the ends.

Hello Roger,
I have my Ronco for the last 2 years - I LOVE IT. It will give the
BEST rotisserie chicken EVER. Moist and delicious. I marinate my
chicken(s) in salt water for about 2 hours before roasting. Then I rub
it (them) with a dry rub and roast for 1.5 hours. That is for oen or
two chickens. The salt water for the marinate should not be too salty,
just enough to be a bit on the salty side. Teh chicken(s) will absorb
some of the salt water and the breast stays moist and not only the
outside skin, also the inside of the chicken tasts great! I treat all
of my chicken, whole or pieces that way before cooking, roasting etc.

Read the directions or go to the company website as look up the instructions for
the specific product.
