Thanks LadyJane :-) Just wandered into an internet cafe here in Salamanca Place to check our flights home, and thought I'd have a peek in here and see whats been happening. I'm going to have a shiteload of stuff to go thru after 10 days away!! But as for culinary delights........ 1 dozen Barilla Bay oysters and a bottle of Oyster Stout for breakfast, fresh fish and a bottle of Tassie Sav Blanch for lunch, and Bruschetta and some sort of flat chicken dish for dinner at the restaurant attached to our units. *Plus* they gave me a bottle of red for my b'day....... so by the end of the night, I was having trouble remembering things!! Will get back to all and post pictures of the trip when I get home and get settled back into life in crappy Queensland again!! BTW, the weather has been *BEAUTIFUL* down here. Sunny, clear days, crisp nights. But we did manage to go up Mt. Wellington and have a snow fight in the first couple of days here. Ciao from sunny Tassie........ |

Looking forward to hearing about your trip. Michael Thanks Michael.......... will tell all (well most) when I get back home. If you're ever thinking of somewhere to go for a holiday........ check out Tasmania............ I think I've finally managed to persuade the SO that it's a great place to live :-) All she could say for the first week or so was "WOW!! This place is beautiful!!" |
