Felice Well, this is industrial "better living through chemistry" America. We can have a mediocre version of anything we want in a can/frozen or just add water "mix". |

Is canned Gazpacho available in food markets? I've seen gazpacho packaged in plastic containers in the refrigerator case, but I've never seen it canned... why would any sane minded person even want canned gazpacho. gazpacho [gahz-PAH-choh] A refreshingly cold, summertime soup hailing from the Andalusia region in southern Spain. This uncooked soup is usually made from a pureed mixture of fresh tomatoes, sweet bell peppers, onions, celery, cucumber, bread crumbs, garlic, olive oil, vinegar and sometimes lemon juice. Gazpacho can be a meal in itself, particularly when extra fresh vegetables such as sliced celery, green onion, cucumber and green pepper are added. Popular garnishes include croutons and diced hard- cooked eggs. ? Copyright Barron's Educational Services, Inc. 1995 based on THE FOOD LOVER'S COMPANION, 2nd edition, by Sharon Tyler Herbst. |

Is canned Gazpacho available in food markets? I believe I've seen it in jars in the canned soup section at Whole Foods. But as others have said, that's no way to have gazpacho. |

?? Is canned Gazpacho available in food markets? VS Food markets where? Here in Germany, canned gazpacho is VS not to be found, but Spanish-produced jarred or bottled VS gazpacho is. I suspect I would like that as little as I liked the Trader Joe's version. Home-made gazpacho keeps for 2-3 days before it loses flavor.
