My wife and I set up her booth at a wine festival this past weekend. I saw a couple different wine vendors giving out samples of her chocolate to go with samples of their port. Good advertising for her as well. Yes, one vinyard asked her to come to their own harvest festival in the Fall. Lot's of people from the local area see us there and ask where the shop is. It's really too hot for the chocolates so we can't display them well, they have to stay in coolers, but we sell enough to make it worthwhile. This was the 3rd year of the wine festival for this site. Oh, and there is music during the event also. Here's a link: http://www.winedownthetrail.com/2007/ It's over for this year, so I don't feel guilty posting the link. It's right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Bill Ranck Blacksburg, Va. |
