Hi All, Try the Cucmber Salad. I found this link before a party at my home and it was yummy. Everybody liked it. snip My wife and I always make this one. Cucumber Salad (Jewish Pickles) 4 cucumbers 1/2 water 1 yellow onion sliced thinly 1 c. white vinegar 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp dried dill. (we add at least a tsp if not more) Peel and slice cucumbers very thin. (we use a mandolin excuse spelling) Mix with onion. Bring to boil the remaining ingredients. Pour over cucumbers and onion in a salad bowl. Chill. serves 4 to 6 people |
