Blueberry Morning, and Honey Bunches of Oats--Strawberry and Peach.

Yummy with whole milk. Even better when you add a bit of heavy cream
to the milk.

Honey bunches of oats was too sweet and not sustaining enough for me -
it's like eating cornflakes with sugar and a bit of fruit (tastes
great but you're hungry an hour later because the glycemic index is
too high)... I usually eat their 'great grains - raisin, date and
pecan'. Now that's delicious!

I have to say that I like the "regular" HBoO. It's also a really good
snacking cereal, right out of the box. Can't eat shredded wheat all the
time!

Sorry, too sweet for me. I prefer Cheerios with a banana
and a handful of chopped, roasted pecans. I don't
care for heavy cream in the milk either. More fat
doesn't always mean better.

It doesn't?

Try it with yogurt instead of milk sometime.

On cruise ships, I have seen people put yogurt or cream on their cereal.
They seemed to like it.

This morning, I had coffee, Shredded Wheat with 1/2 banana and I ate a
whole Ruby Red grapefruit. I love 'em!

In Scandinavia, cold cereal is served on the breakfast buffet with
quart cartons (like quarts of milk) of plain or fruit flavored
yogurts that have a texture that's a cross between yogurt and whipping
cream. The fat contents varies and is listed on the carton.

I love that stuff. I restrain myself though because it's very high
in calories.

I can't stand milk, but yogurt goes down OK for me.

I occasionally have1/2 cup of 2% yogurt with 1/4 cup of Kashi GoLean
cereal and 1/4 cup of berries sprinkled on top. I never ate cereal at
all until I tried the Kashi stuff. Other cereal is too sweet.

Shredded Wheat seems more like a punishment than a breakfast. Now the
grapefruit, I could happily polish off several of those any time of
day.

I associate Shredded Wheat (with skim milk and sliced bananas) with
dentures, adult diapers, and prune juice.

I've enjoyed Shredded Wheat since I was a kid, mumble-mumble years
ago. Started with the big klunky pillows (they were cheap, which was
important when I was growing up) but preferred the bite-size. These
days I eat the vanilla flavor stuff about four times a week.

Everyone to his/her own taste.

Oh yeah, Shredded Wheat is pretty good. I get the regular bite-sized.
Some cut-up banana is a good addition.

Bite sized here as well, only the Trader Joe's brand no sugar, no
additive/preservative kind with 1% skim milk.
