I also got a small loaf of "The Baker" wheat-free, gluten free pumpernickel (product of Germany), since I've liked pumpernickel for hor'dourves sandwich thingys but it was way too dense than what I'm used to and a sweeter flavor than I like. Is it the really thin-sliced pumpernickel that's very moist and kind of crumbly if you handle it roughly? That's one of my favorites! maxine, Look familiar?? http://www.tinypic.com/5359qxg.jpg Andy |

This has been a staple for me for *years* and here's the really easy, wunnerful spread that my [Norwegian] MIL created: @@@@@ Now You're Cooking! Cream all ingredients together. Pass the flatbread. Contributor: Evelyn Pederson Schiele Yield: 8 servings Note: grate onion very, very fine. Terry "Squeaks" Pulliam Burd -- "If the soup had been as hot as the claret, if the claret had been as old as the bird, and if the bird's breasts had been as full as the waitress's, it would have been a very good dinner." -- Duncan Hines To reply, replace "spaminator" with "cox" |
