Emeril has a new toothpaste commercial for Colgate's(?) new line of
super-flavored toothpastes. When he tastes the tootpaste he says
"bam" as well as saying "they've kicked this up a notch". Really
*lame* commercial.

Yes, and the toothpaste flavours sound "lame", as well. Orange? Ick.....

My husband is hoping Nigella will sell lingerie or underwear.

Rumor has it that Rick Bayliss is doing a Burger King commercial, too,

I saw it last night. I've been a big Rick Bayless fan for the last
year so it was very painful to see it. It was sooooo bad I almost cried.

Do people who don't cook even know who these people are? It's
probably better that way.

It's amazing how many people who don't cook much like to watch cooking
shows...

Actually, if...like me...you don't like minty toothpaste, the flavors can be
a great thing.

Try Tom's of Maine toothpaste. Their cinnamint is mostly cinnamon,
can't really taste the mint at all. They also have fennel, ginger,
strawberry, mango, as well as mint. And if those don't appeal to you
they have unflavored.

They DO!!! I've never seen this, and really resent having to have my tender buds
blasted into a LSD trip every time I brush. I've taken to brushing with just
water.
Where do you get unflavoured!!??

I usually get mine at Whole Foods Market. One of the local groceries
carries some of the flavors. Supposedly Wal-mart has contracted to
carry some of the Tom's products. If all else fails, you can order
directly from them: http://www.tomsofmaine.com/

I have family in Maine and last August when I went up for a visit Mom
and I took the factory tour. They were making mint toothpaste that day
and the place smelled *wonderful*.

I will say their Echinasia tooth paste is really weird. I like the
strawberry and mango ones, though.

Walgreens carries the Tom's of Maine line, as well.

Pretty much all of the supermarket chains around here carry it. Super
Target, too.
