Hi,
I wonder if anyone can assist with the following. I have purchased an ex display Siements ET7287OEU touch control electric hob/top with a glass/ceramic top. It came without the fitting instructions or any fitting attachments. There are two stepped levels under the top surface, the lower of which has 4 plastic pegs which look as though they are load bearing. If I simply drop it into the worktop hole there is only about 8mm of aluminum trim which is load bearing. Would anyone have one of these or another similar siemens model that they could let me know how exactly it fits in the worktop. Regards Dave Gibson |

Regards Dave Gibson I suppose that's what one might expect when buying a sample/display model. Best to write or all Siemens for proper installation instructions. Hope you got a really good deal on this! Wayne |

Yes Wayne,
I got a really good deal & its in immaculate condition. The cheapest I saw it for on one of the price comparison web sights was £495 plus £20 delivery. I paid £235 all done with warranty. Thank you for your input and concern. Dave Gibson On Sun, 05 Oct 2003 11:53:16 GMT, Wayne Boatwright wrote: David Gibson wrote in : Hi, I wonder if anyone can assist with the following. ASAIK, Siemens is very supportive of all their products. They are high quality merchandise. Happy cooking on your new acquisition! Wayne |

Wayne,
I can confirm that Siemens are sending me the fittings kit, installation instructions and user manual free of charge and have set up the two years parts and labour warranty also. High class support I would say. Dave Gibson On Mon, 06 Oct 2003 03:42:48 GMT, Wayne Boatwright wrote: David Gibson wrote in : Yes Wayne, I got a really good deal & its in immaculate condition.
