It is not uncommon for poorer people to eat canned cat and dog food. I'd stick with the "sliced in gravy" cat food. It looks the most appetizing when I'm feeding my fur-kids. ;-) Look into canned tuna tho', it's about the same price. C. |

Most dog food has dubious ingredients, some of which aren't legal in food meant for people. It's too good for trolls. nancy My friends once got drunk and... (ok, so they got drunk a lot and still do) ... they cooked up some "Gaines Burgers" in a microwave and melted some cheese on top of them. Eat 'em up! I once went to a party with several friends... A couple of them walked into the kitchen and saw some dog biscuits and proceeded to eat them in front of the hosts. I walked in a couple of minutes later and said the same thing they'd said "Oh, dog biscuits!" and started munching on some of them to the horror of the party hosts. My friends also used to come over to my house and eat crickets and other half-rotten bugs out of the bug-trap on the side of the swimming pool. Sure you can eat dog food! As a matter-of-fact, you don't have a hair on your @ss if you don't make them a big dog food dish and sit down and eat two helpings of it with your friends. Just get some of the really gravy-like dog food stuff and mix it in with some crushed saltine crackers and a couple of eggs. Add some grated cheddar cheese and hot sauce. A little garlic powder and diced onion and you're good to go. Form the mixture into a loaf and bake at 350 for about an hour, enough to get the eggs to help solidify the mixture, and for the cheese to melt completely. Handy tip: Chill the leftovers and make "meat"-loaf sandwiches for lunch the next day. Glad I could help! :-D -- Travis FOR SALE: '63 VW Camo Baja... $1000 *FIRM* http://bugadventures.dyndns.org Words that soak into your ears are whispered, not yelled. :wq! |
