Default Breakfast cereal review: Quakers Oat Crunch

Background to the product: Quakers Oat Crunch is a relatively new product
from Quaker.

I tried a bowl of around 50gm with full fat pasteurised milk and no sugar.

Review: Texture was like baked cardboard, so quite crumbly. It didn't taste
of much, though there's a malty tang to it, and a hint of brown sugar.

My opinion: Worth a try, though not the sort of breakfast cereal you can get
hooked on. 2 stars.

Awesome, dude. You've made me want to buy some.

And now I know Kraft own Toblerone and Maxwell House, which is an added
bonus.

Oh yes, Grapenuts are an excellent crunchy breakfast, though a bit on the
expensive side. I usually have a breakfast of raw porridge oats mixed with
All Bran and a sprinkling of Grapenuts too. Lovely stuff.

CB though a bit on the expensive side. I usually have a

I like to have a high fiber breakfast and I like the taste of
All-Bran so I generally have that with a sliced banana. The
various Raisin Bran flakes from several manufacturers are not
bad eiither. Most other cereals with similar fiber contents
taste like shredded cardboard to me but "To each his own".

Expensive?

Much more--per serving--than raw oats (I agree), but not outrageous . . . let
me check my receipts so I can do some math(e).

All Bran and a sprinkling of Grapenuts too. Lovely stuff.

Sounds good.

I usually just sick (oho!) with plain oats.

I'm into knowing useless facts so as to impress girls. But since you mention
it, I'm not for or against megacorps. They make mistakes like any other
business, although they tend to be mega-mistakes when they happen. But they
provide a lot of people with jobs and can do things like research and market
amazing new drugs, which smaller corps can't do.
