I do that as well....ketchup, Worcestershire, lemon juice, Tabasco and
horseradish.

I watched in horror as Jacques Pepin put it into
his salsa. He was all excited because he was using
organic ketchup. I'm thinking, "Bad idea, organic
or not".

Oddly enough, I like flying (I said it was _mild_ )
but I just can NOT jump! Getting close to the edge of a tall building
makes me a little nervous (give me butterflies in my stomach)
but I think the main problem is is that I don't like the sensation of
falling...

Same here when I took a swimming class, but see above.

I will if I have to to do a spot repair or caulk the back porch roof.
(it's time to do that again!)

Our family has always put ketchup on macaroni and cheese. Although
the way we make the macaroni is nothing like the Kraft boxed version
with the very saucy cheese sauce. We cook the macaroni and
then layer the noodles in a casserole dish with slices of cheddar
or colby cheese and sprinkle each layer with flour and salt and pepper.
Then when it's all together we pour milk over it up to the top of the
noodles and then bake it. It's a much dryer dish and lends itself
more to the ketchup being put on it. The saucier version I think would
be yucky as the ketchup would tend to kind of mix with the cheese sauce
and look all gross.

Ketchup all the way, even with bacon.

Ew. Ketchup and chicken? Although we use ketchup in many
bbq sauce recipes and other sauces. But just plain chicken
dipped in ketchup would be yucky.

> What else calls out for ketchup?

Scrambled eggs, omelets, vegetable soup (our family has always
put ketchup in our home-made veg. soup - at the table though, to
individual taste, not into the whole pot. It makes all the difference.
Any kind of fried potates - french, hash, home, etc.

I know there must be a ton more things but it's time to go home
so I'll have to think of them later.

Yeah, I love to dip my grilled cheese into a puddle of
ketchup as I eat.

It's good for dipping fried shrimp. I used to do it all the
time but now I used a mixture of ketchup and Thai Sweet Chilli
Sauce instead. I really hate that horseradishy cocktail
sauce that they often give you with fried shrimp.

This is the recipe to which I refer. The ketchup really does go well here;
maybe it's because the dish isn't all that "chickeny":

Omu-rice

1/2 lb. chicken breast
1 onion
1 green pepper
4 white mushrooms
4 tbsps ketchup
salt and pepper to season
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 eggs
4 cups steamed Japanese rice

PREPARATION:
Dice chicken, green pepper, mushrooms, and onion. Heat vegetable oil in a
frying pan and saute diced chicken. Add diced onion, mushrooms, and green
pepper in the frying pan and saute together. Add steamed Japanese rice in
the pan and mix well. Sprinkle some salt and pepper. Stop the heat and add
ketchup and mix well. Heat another frying pan and put some vegetable oil.
Whisk an egg in a bowl and pour the egg in the frying pan. Quickly spread
the egg in the frying pan and make a thin, large, and round omelet. Place
chicken rice in the middle of the omelet and fold top and bottom sides of
omelet over the chicken rice. Cover the frying pan with a plate and turn
them over to place the omu-rice in the plate. Repeat steps to make four
plates of omu-rice. Put some ketchup on top of omu-rice.

Ahhhhh, well there you go!!

When you jump (skydive) there is *no* falling sensation!!

That only happens on BASE jumps or jumps out of hot air balloons.

So now you can go and have a jump safe in the knowledge there is no
falling sensation :-)

I guess Om and I are both odd. I have a *severe* problem with height,
but I *like* flying in an airplane.

Jumping out of an airplane? Not going to do that, for several reasons.

At the very least, I'd have to take an Enema before trying it. ;-)

Is that for pleasure, or practicality?? ;-P

In all my years jumping, I've never seen anyone crap their pants. Seen
plenty that have spewed their guts up, but no crap. Something about the
first jump having a 'Pucker Factor' of 8 :-)

It'd keep my pants clean during the jump. ;-)

Probably 'cause anyone scared enough to do that would not be jumping in
