Anyone who would be "humiliated" by this would probably be useless in a
genuine crisis, anyway. This is why Americans are often viewed as
"shallow" abroad.

I can't think of one single person (adult) who bought a "fake" name
brand and actually thought they were getting the real thing. Also,
who would talk about it to a stranger and still have such a big stake
in it being "real" that they would feel *humiliated*when someone else
calls it a "fake"?

I bought fake Pradas on Canal street in NYC on purpose. They were gorgeous
bags, with or without the Prada tags.

My question is, who the hell is this person who thinks they should tell you
