Default Tea and killfile questions

Second question, is it possible to killfile someone if I'm using google
to access ngs? If so, how?

Right click.
Select all.
Delete.

Yes, actually I don't know much about settings so my computer geek (not
a slur, he gets big bucks for it) brother does it for me and says to
just leave it at google...

Sorry, that's a feature google doesn't offer. Is there a compelling
reason why you don't use a real email client that *can* filter?
Have you tried Thunderbird or xnews? They are free.

And you are a schmuck and a putz and the reason I need a killfile to
begin with. Your is the only address I would killfile. Du bist ein ganz
groiser knar. You make me ashamed to be Jewish. Unfortunately when you
openly identify you give people who are hateful more ammunition. I am
not a newbie I have been posting on here for several years which if you
bothered to check my profile you'd have seen that. I have been
following your mental deterioration for a while now. I seriously think
you should see a neurologist. I have known two people who became more
and more mentally unstable and it turned out they had brain tumors. A
schnorrer is a beggar by the way, buy a Yiddish/English dictionary you
moron.

First, does anybody here have any idea where I can buy Fortunes' Honey
Lemon tea, either retail or by catalog? I can't find it anywhere in the
Los Angeles area and I've been searching for a couple of years and in
the process tried every other brand on the planet but I really want
this one and can't get it. I originally got it in a gift basket.

Perhaps that if after searching so long you can't find something so
trivial there's a message there.

Nope. But why can't you simply use the filter all normal brained
humans are born with, the mental capapcity to ignore that of which they
are not interested. But there is a dichotomy at work here... those who
ask about how to killfile and/or have the need to announce that they
have are those who they themselves are most meritous of being
killfiled... because to date you've contributed not a whit of anything
useful, and as a brand new newbie to ask such is plainly rude... did it
occur to you that it's you who are not wanted here, you are strictly an
obnoxious taker. You're like the first time guest who arrives empty
handed but bashes the host for not having their favorite viands, and
then wonders why they don't get invited again. You are a schnorrer!
Fortunately you won't be here long.

Yep, it would. I will take a look at it. After having my identity
stolen 3 times I'm terrified of online shopping. I am trying to
download Thunderbird now too. Thx!

Fortunes has its own website where they advertise and sell their
products. That would probably work, don't you think?

No. Google Groups could be better if it offered some filter
mechanisms, but killfile capability would be a waste of effort. The
page and thread layouts are so easy to navigate that anyone with a
thumb or forefinger can zip past a post they don't want to read in a
nanosecond. -aem

True again. But I don't even want to see Sheldon's name. I don't want
him to exist in my little world.

I have posted here in the past and will continue to do so. You will
soon be killfiled so don't wear out your gnarled fingers typing any
more dreck, drag your leg back to your cave with your troll family. Du
zols kakn mit blit un mit ayter. Heng dikh oyf a tsikershtrikl vestu

That makes it even more rude to ask here... and especially since she's
not even part of this newsgroup... do dirty work where the dirtywork
is... even my cats know don't shit where they eat.

Thunderbird is ok, but its filtering capability is pretty primitive.
Basic killfile or subject keywords works, but fancier stuff like
cross-posted newsgroups (really useful around here) doesn't.

I've noticed. I'm back to the relatively easy ignoring of threads that
I'm not interested in. Whatever works, eh?

Frankly, I think if you have your filters set so you're not getting
all the cr*p you don't want.... then your eyes can do the crosspost
filtering (which will be minimal and probably on topic), so who cares?

That was my problem. I was under the impression that Cox didn't offer
that service, but I found out that they do and now can use it.
Newsreaders are useless without something to connect to.

You're a negative thinker? I figured out my ISPs news feed when they
claimed not to have one. When there's a will, there's a way.
Especially when they're as big as Cox. Glad you figured it out.

Islands... don't be held hostage by your brother! Check with your ISP
and see if it offers a usenet feed for free. Take a chance and set up
your software alone. If what you choose is used by enough people,
you'll probably find a usenet support group for it where you can ask
questions. I've always taught myself with the help of online usenet
groups. If I can do it, you certainly can - you're a whole lot
younger, you've got someone to answer questions and you should be more
technologically inclined than I am.

Was your identity stolen online?? If so, then you must have not been
shopping at secure sites. Only 10 per cent of identity theft is
online. THREE TIMES???
