Default Recipie Software

Hello All

I am looking at organising my recopies on my computer so they are
searchable. I plan to install an old PC in the kitchen to make it all easy.

Does anyone have any suggestions for good recipe software. I don't need one
with recipies just one I can search with a number of different ingredients.

Thanks

Tigger

I use MasterCook. It is/was available for about twenty bucks at Best Buy.

If you have Windows on your comp, you probably already have what you need.
Create a recipe folder and put your recipes in it; you can then use your search
function to search within that folder for different keywords.

Default Recipie Software

Hello
I use PieceOfCake (http://home.bip.net/jbostrom/poc). I also use it on
the kitchen computer. It is a program developed by me and I have
received a lot of help from about ten nice people on rec.food.cooking.
The program does about the same as the other well known programs, but
personally I think it is better (perhaps because I made it ;-). It got
a 4 cow-rating at Tucows and it seems to be the second most popular
recipe software there right now
(http://www.tucows.com/handl_foodbeverage_rating.html). Works on
Windows.

I am a minimalist when it comes to software, and use treepad. It has an
easy way of letting me copy recipes I find, great search tools and
outlining capability. No changing of serving sizes or anything, but thats
not what I need. Best of all, they have a free version.
