Default Chocolate booze recipe

I made this last night after discovering the recipe last year- I don't
have it with me, so I can't give proper credit, but it is from a guy
who has a chocolate shop in St. Louis, I think. This is totally
decadent- perfect for the holidays!
Heat to boiling:
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup water
Add:
4 oz chopped bittersweet chocolate
1 tsp vanilla
Set aside to cool for 5 minutes
Mix together
1 cup half & half
1/2 cup heavy cream
I can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup bourbon ( you can use vodka for a neutral flavor)
Mix in chocolate mixture, put in a bottle, and refridgerate overnight.
The recipe said to do it in a blender, but I jusk whisked it together
in a big pitcher. Enjoy!
