Oh pshaw, on Thu 16 Nov 2006 11:34:37a, Omelet meant to say...

Hi Wayne!

Got a couple of preliminaries for you, please let me know if you want
anything else added? I can add additional Christmas decorations,
lighting effects, and TEXT! I can add a message in various fonts to the
bottom, top, side, center, whatever you'd like. :-)

Those are great! I do have an idea for a text prhase if you want to give
it a shot.

We can take this to private e-mail if you want. Do you have the Katra
addy?

We probably should...when you can - wayneboatwright at gmail.com

Anyhoo, here is what I've done so far, two different versions. Did not
know if you'd like the spotlight effects or not so I kept a psd of both
for further alterations.

I like both, but I think the cats show up better in the one without the
spotlight.

These were just quickies, I'll smooth the alterations in the venetian
blind background a bit further. I had to paste pieces of the blinds to
erase the donkeytail and replace it with the mistletoe. Much easier than
trying to blank it out with the cloning tool:

http://i15.tinypic.com/2mmehy8.jpg

And spotlighted:

http://i10.tinypic.com/496h6ps.jpg

I can also increase contrast and do color alterations.

:-)

I wish I had your talent!!!

I hope tho' that you kept the original high rez' files?
Otherwise the final prints would suffer drastically!

Granted, I'll have to re-do the work but it's not a big deal. I kept the
erased mistletoe in a separate file and I've started a folder for you.

I agree. I was just playing. The Render filters can be tempting but
detract if overused.

Practice, not talent. lol

You wish you owned the program is more accurate! ;-D

I actually learned a lot from a graphic-art binaries list.
Experienced photoshoppers taught me a lot but even after 6 years, I've
not explored all the possibilities of the original and aftermarket
filters and options!

I've responded through e-mail.

THANKS!

Typical photoshop junkie! Can't stop fiddling with the photos!
The way you have them highlighted, they look like they're worshiping
the misseltoe.

Didn't know that cats were DruidsG

LOL! I don't think missletoe was in the Bible. :-)

We'll post a link to the final picture if that's okay with Katra.

As soon as Wayne looks away, I intend to steal the first picture.
Then, I will claim that these are my Tuxedo Cats. He can keep the
second picture.

Thievery will get you almost anything you want, but you'll be fraught with
guilt. Such shameless behavior, Margaret!
