I bought a crate of these at Costco the other day and I have to say
these are some seriously good eating! Way juicier than Bartlett's. Ok, I admit, until last year when I was sent a gift of the Royal Riviera pears from Harry & David, I'd never tried one that I can remember. Now, I'm seriously hooked. There were about 16 pears in the crate...we're down to 2. ![]() Next on my list...Bosc. kimberly |

Isaac Wasn't this the pear that used to be advertised as "The Pear You Eat With A Spoon"? |

Interestingly, pears have to be picked unripe, so those you find in stores are as good or better than homegrown. |

So I slice them in half and eat them with a spoon. Very juicy and sweet and delicious ![]() kimberly |
