4. I'll eat it if somebody gives me one, but I would not buy one
for myself, friends, or family.
5. I AM a fruitcake

I love fruitcake--but not icky sweet fruitcake. Your first
set of premises is incorrect.

OK, I'll take No. 3. How about a white cake with just lemon, orange and
citron? No dark batter and no figs, dates and what-have you. More like a
gently fruited pound cake.
