I think Italians are much more easy going! They enjoy their food. They
take time to prepare it and meal times appear to be a social event. However the Americans are always in a rush and pick up snack food on the RUN! wrote in message . com... Very early in my foodie life, I had good friends (still friends, as a matter of fact), who really expanded my food/entertaining horizons. I house-sat for them one summer and coincidentally watched some early Julia Child and did some experimentation. When they returned, I said, "Ah hah! I know your secrets! *Anything* tastes great if you add enough butter, egg yolks, and heavy cream." |
